Multiple Car Burglaries Reported In Lakewood Ranch

Manatee County Sheriff's Office is warning residents in Lakewood Ranch to lock their cars and stow away valuables after a string of car burglaries this weekend.

The sheriff's office received calls for multiple overnight burglaries from Friday to Saturday, from about 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., in Braden Woods and Summerfield subdivisions in Lakewood Ranch.

Various items including cash and electronics were taken, and most of the cars were left unlocked, according to the sheriff's office.
