Pickin' Picnic 2016: What To Know Before You Go

Free event features food, music and beer all day at the Bradenton Riverwalk.

BRADENTON, FL – Looking for a music festival this weekend? Or a beer festival? How about a food festival? Then why not attend all three at once.

Realize Bradenton will host Pickin’ Picnic 2016 on Saturday, May 7 at the Bradenton Riverwalk. This free event will feature local bands, craft beers and food trucks.

Here’s what area residents need to know before you go to Pickin’ Picnic 2016:

WHEN

Pickin’ Picnic 2016 takes place Saturday, May 7 from 2 p.m to 10 p.m.

WHERE

All events will take place at the Bradenton Riverwalk Pavilion, 452 Third Ave. W. The pavilion is located about halfway between Business U.S. 41 and U.S. 41/U.S. 301. Click here to see a parking map for the event. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome.

The following food trucks are scheduled to participate in Pickin’ Picnic 2016:

  • Ammy’s Catering & Concessions: Family-run food truck using high-quality ingredients
  • B’s Cool Treats: Local frozen treats and desserts
  • Chefs2U: Variety of food prepared fresh by culinary chefs
  • Traveling Kitchen: Traditional American and Latin-style pulled pork

VENDORS

The following vendors are scheduled to participate in Pickin’ Picnic 2016:

  • Alcover Massage: Affordable professional massage therapy
  • The Babe Cave Studio: Handmade bohemian-style jewelry and essential oil accessories
  • Clothesline Tees: Custom screen printers who use eco-friendly inks
  • Gravity Henna Tattoos: Local artist providing safe, quality henna designs
  • My Beloved Boutique: Women’s boutique with all items less than $100
  • Village of the Arts: Village artists will be selling arts and goods
