Pregnant Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash
The woman hit a curb and lost control of the motorcycle.

A pregnant woman was killed Wednesday night when the motorcycle she was driving hit a curb at 20th Street West and 53rd Avenue West and she lost control and was thrown from the vehicle.
Shaneice S. Porter, 18, was 8-month pregnant but the fetus also died.
Porter was travelling east on 53rd Avenue West in the right lane approaching the intersection of 20th St West when her motorcycle's right side struck the curb on the south shoulder of 53rd Avenue West. Porter lost control of the motorcycle and flew off the motorcycle onto the south shoulder where Porter hit a bus stop sign.

The motorcycle continued east and overturned twice coming to final rest facing southwest and obstructing the right lane of eastbound 53rd Avenue West in the intersection of 20th Street West.
Porter was taken to Blake Medical Center where both she and the fetus died.
