SCF Manatees Ranked in Baseball and Softball Polls

SCF's baseball team has been ranked 10th in the country by the National Junior College Athletic Association in its March 20 Division I poll.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) baseball team has been ranked 10th in the country by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in its March 20 Division I baseball poll. The Manatees had a 24-7 record at the time of the poll and are one of just three Florida teams ranked in the top 10.

SCF Baseball is ranked second in the NJCAA Region 8 Baseball Coaches’ Poll for this week and SCF Softball is ranked seventh with a 28-12 record. The next Coaches” Poll will be taken March 27.

See the Manatees baseball team play at 6 p.m. Friday as they host St. Petersburg College or at 6 p.m. Monday as they host Hillsborough Community College. The Manatees softball team will host Hillsborough Community College for a doubleheader at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Games will be held at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. General admission is $4, senior admission $2, and SCF students and staff are free with an SCF ID.
