SCF Manatees Shortstop Austin James FCSAA Player of the Week
Austin James, a sophomore shortstop at SCF, was named the Florida College System Activities Association Player of the Week.
Austin James, a sophomore shortstop at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), was named the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Player of the Week for games played Feb. 19-25.
James batted .455 (10-22) with seven runs scored, including a double and a home run, and 10 RBIs during the voting period, helping the Manatees to four wins.
See James and his Manatees teammates at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 as they host Florida Southwestern at Robert C. Wynn Field, 5840 26th St. W., or at 6 p.m. Monday, March 12 as SCF hosts Polk State College. General admission is $4, senior admission $2, and SCF students and staff are free with an SCF ID.
