SCF Offers Accelerated HR Management Certificate in Suncoast

Small businesses in the Suncoast region without a formal Human Resources (HR) department or those interested in a career in HR can take advantage of State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) HR Management Certificate Program. The accelerated eight-week evening course will run each Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. May 26 through July 14 at SCF Lakewood Ranch. Registration is available at SCF.edu/CCDenroll. Click on the link labeled Professional Development on the left-hand column and select Leadership.

The program will address topics such as talent acquisition, performance appraisals, discipline, HR law, benefits and managing virtual work teams – all of which are critical to the success of any business in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Tampa, Brandon, Ruskin, Sarasota and Bradenton.
