SCF Offers Parent Education and Family Stabilization Class
SCF offers classes through the state of Florida for divorcing parents with children to educate, train and assist divorcing parents.
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) offers classes through the state of Florida for divorcing parents with children. The Parent Education and Family Stabilization classes are designed to educate, train and assist divorcing parents as required by state law.
The state requires that both parents complete this four-hour course before the court enters a final judgment to dissolve a marriage that includes minor children or settle a paternity case that involves issues of parental responsibility. Classes are available at all three SCF campuses and are available in Spanish.
