What Should Go in This Shopping Center?

An old Winn-Dixie sits vacant at the corner of State Road 70 and Lockwood Ridge Road in Bradenton. What would you like to see built in its place?

Developers have planned to build a new shopping center at the corner of State Road 70 and Lockwood Ridge Road in Bradenton for years now.

A long-shuttered Winn-Dixie grocery store sits empty on the 26.5-acre property, along with signs from developer Adler Group advertising spaces for lease in the future "West Lakes Plaza Community Shopping Center."

Not far away, a new 45,000-square-foot Publix is being constructed, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports, right next to a CVS.
