Woman Found Dead Near Bradenton Mobile Home Park
A passerby found the 64-year-old woman slumped over on a sidewalk on 59th Avenue Drive W. She later was identified by authorities.
A man walking along a Bradenton street Saturday found a deceased woman lying on the ground, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place just after noon as the man was walking along the 1100 block of 59th Avenue Drive West, near the Swan Lake Village mobile home park.
Authorities have identified the deceased woman as 64-year-old Sandra Edmondson. Â
According to the police report, the man who found had first walked down the sidewalk at about  12:15 p.m. Saturday, and the street was clear.
On his return trip – about a half-hour later – he saw a woman slumped over. She was located next to some trees, and there were groceries next to her.
The witness called for help, and MCSO deputies, and EMTs responded to the scene. The woman was pronounced dead at 12:41 p.m.
She later was identified as Sandra Edmondson. She reportedly had numerous medical problems, according to authorities.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
