BRADENTON, FL — Zaxby’s, a fast-casual chicken restaurant based out of Georgia, expands in Manatee County with a second Bradenton location, according to a news release.

The drive-thru of a Zaxby’s restaurant at 5020 14th Street in Bradenton will open Monday. The restaurant will also open for curbside pick-up, the news release said. The dining room will open at a later date.

“We’re excited to bring a second Zaxby’s location to the Manatee County community,” Smallwood, Zaxby’s licensee and owner of Palmwood Foods, LLC, said. “I’m a second-generation Zaxby’s licensee and have embraced the brand ever since my dad opened his first store 18 years ago.”

The 2,800 square-foot farmhouse-style restaurant will feature an updated store design with an open kitchen and sustainable LED lighting throughout the building. The restaurant will offer seats for 54 people when the dining room is fully opened.
