"Not only are threats like this a huge disruption to business, they also cause unnecessary fear and panic for innocent people involved. I can't say it enough, making a fake threat is not a joke and anyone caught doing it will be punished to the fullest extent of the law."

This is the second bomb threat the sheriff's office has investigated in the past week.

On Nov. 3 at about 1:30 p.m., Willie Littlefield, 55, contacted 911 and stated that he planted an explosive device in the back of a vehicle at the Fellowship Baptist Church at 13515 U.S. 301 in Thonotosassa. Dispatch traced the cell phone number to Littlefield, and deputies responded to both his home and the church.

Deputies located the vehicle parked at the church and found several closed boxes inside. Everyone inside the church was evacuated.

When they opened the boxes, members of the bomb squad found only car parts.
