Barbados Association To Hold Inaugural Church Service
The service is in celebration of Barbados' National Heroes' Day.

CARROLLWOOD-NORTHDALE, FL - From Barbados Association of Tampa Bay: The Barbados Association of Tampa Bay, Inc. will hold its inaugural church service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Cain Road off Gunn Highway in the Citrus Park section of Tampa.
The service is in celebration of Barbados’ National Heroes’ Day.
Guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Sonia S.J. Hinds, rector of St. Leonard’s Anglican Church in Barbados. Hinds is also a part-time lecturer in Ascetical Theology. Besides serving in her home Diocese of Barbados, she also served in the Dioceses of Toronto and the Windward Islands (St. Lucia).

Immediately following the service, the Bajan Banquet Fundraiser will be held in the parish hall.
The association is under the patronage of Neval Greenidge, consul general at Miami and in partnership with Hillsborough Community College, Cancer Support Services and Moffitt Cancer Center.

The mission of the association, as stated on its website, is to do its part in making the world a better place for all. “We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.”
