Carrollwood Burger Festival Sizzles On Saturday
The one-day event features burgers served up by food trucks from all over the Tampa Bay area.
CARROLLWOOD, FL — Tampa Bay area burger lovers may want to chart a course to Harley-Davidson of Tampa on Saturday. That’s the day the Carrollwood Burger Festival rolls into town.
With more than a dozen food venders, including some of the Tampa Bay area’s best-known food trucks, the festivities focus on all things burger, according to organizer Jeremy Gomez of Generation Entertainment. Hosted by Burger Culture Tampa, the event has pulled in quite a few big names in the local food truck industry. Jimmy’s Slider Truck, Off The Griddle, Flip’n Tasty, The Bacon Boss and Burger Culture all plan to serve up juicy burgers. Desserts, sides and drinks will also be in abundance, courtesy of The Cake Girl, Happiness 101 Cupcakes, Le’ Anns Cheesecake ‘N More and other vendors.
The fun kicks off at the Harley dealership, 6920 N. Dale Mabry Highway, at noon and continues through 8 p.m March 5. While the food trucks and vendors will set up at Harley, festival goers are asked to park at North Park Professional Center, 6800 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Parking is free. Gomez said trams will run from the parking area, or visitors can use the sidewalk to access the dealership.
