The Board of Trustees of Corbett Preparatory School of IDS is proud to announce that Nicholas Rodriguez has accepted its invitation to be the next Head of School to begin on July 6. According to Jeff Shannon, current Corbett Prep Board President, “Nick Rodriguez is the absolute right leader to lead Corbett Prep into its next generations of success.”

Dr. Joyce Burick Swarzman, Corbett Prep’s Head of School since 1996, who has trained over 15,000 educators, is pleased to begin her new role as President of Training and Outreach to continue the school’s work as a leading private school with a public purpose, along with the opportunity to support Mr. Rodriguez as he starts his tenure as the new Head. Dr. Swarzman is extremely enthusiastic for Mr. Rodriguez to return to the school in his new position, after working with her as a Leadership Fellow at Corbett Prep during the 2011-12 school year.

Since that time, Mr. Rodriguez has had great success as a private school administrator, holding the positions of Director of Advancement and Assistant Head of School at Carrollwood Day School, followed by his most recent leadership position as Head of School at Brandon Academy.
