Donation Adds Spirit To Town 'N Country Sheriff's Party
Each holiday season, the 130 children at the Town 'N Country Boys & Girls Club are treated to a Christmas party by the District III office.

TOWN ‘N COUNTRY, FL – Each holiday season, the 130 children who attend the Town ‘N Country Boys & Girls Club look forward to a Christmas party organized by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office District III deputies.
This, year, however, there will be a bit more beneath the club's Christmas tree thanks to a donation from Enviro Build of Hillsborough County.
When the employees of Enviro Build heard about the deputies' annual efforts to give the underprivileged children a Christmas party, they decided to help. The company donated $6,000 toward the holiday event, which will take place Thursday, Dec. 21. This will be added to the $700 the deputies raised themselves to purchase pizza, drinks, ice cream and gifts for the children.

"This is a perfect example of the spirit behind the holidays. You have an incredible corporate citizen in Enviro Build, LLC who wants to help us help kids and then you have the individual generosity of each deputy who paid out of his or her own pocket," said District III Major Kristi Poore. "I am extremely proud of this effort. These men and women didn't have to do this but they choose to make our district and community better by helping a child. That speaks volumes about their character."
The party will take place at 3:30 at the club, currently housed at Town ‘N Country Elementary School, 6025 Hanley Road, Tampa, will the club’s new facility is being constructed.
