Driver In Hit-And-Run Accident In Keystone Comes Forward
The driver of a truck involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Keystone has come forward and is cooperating with investigators.

KEYSTONE, FL — The driver of a truck involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Keystone has come forward and is cooperating with Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office traffic homicide detectives.
On Friday, July 10 at 10:20 p.m., a truck pulling a boat trailer was traveling north on Gunn Highway and made a left turn on Tarpon Springs Highway.
At the same time, a motorcycle was traveling south on Gunn Highway. The driver of the motorcycle attempted to stop to avoid a collision, but struck the right rear side of the boat trailer. The truck and trailer continued traveling west on Tarpon Springs Highway.

The motorcyclist was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where he died. Surveillance video from a nearby business captured video of the truck and trailer.
"We aren't sure if the driver of the truck is aware of the accident or if they cold-heartedly left the scene where a man was dying," said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
