First Comes Cheese, Then Comes Baby?

Would you eat this royal cheese?

We've heard of throwing rice at weddings. And black eyed peas on New Year's Day.

But eating cheese to celebrate a baby's birth? That's a new one.

No matter. In celebration of the upcoming arrival of Prince William and his wife, The Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's baby,Whole Foods Market has launched a new product called  Westminster William and Kate Royal Addition Cheddar cheese, according to a press release issued by the grocery store Tuesday.

The cheese, described as all-natural, white cheddar, is made in England and is aged for 12 months. It has a creamy yet savory flavor.

Whole Foods Market is the exclusive bulk retailer for the product (10-pound wheel) and will also sell the Royal Addition Cheddar in pieces at $9.99 per pound, the press release stated.

The cheese is available for a limited time in all Whole Foods Market locations across the country. Locally, Whole Foods is located at 3802 Northdale Blvd. 

Middleton is due to give birth on July 13, according to media reports.
