When the pandemic changed the way we were forced to live our lives, many people found getting outside a good way to cope with our new lifestyles. Rather than working in your own yard all the time, some found that going to a different place, growing vegetables and flowers an enjoyable change of pace.

Spring gardeners enjoyed a bountiful harvest of green beans, lettuce, tomatoes, okra, peppers, marigolds, zinnias and sunflowers.

Fall gardeners have already harvested mustard greens and collards. Peas are starting to flower and green beans are popping up in beds.

There are information leaflets in a marked container next to the church mailbox.

Stop by to see what's growing on!
