Golfers Teed Off to Raise Cash for Local School
The 22nd annual Lake Magdalene Elementary School Dad's Club golf tournament was held on May 4
More than 80 golfers took part in the Lake Magdalene Elementary School Dad's Club golf tournament. The event was held on May 4 at Babe Zaharis Golf Course.
In its 22nd year, the fundraiser raised money for the school's annual community functions, including the fishing derby and school picnic. A portion of this year's funds will also go to Operation Helping Hand, a grassroots organization that raises money to help wounded soldiers and their families.
Winners of this year's golf tournament include Kevin Welniak, Dave Lauderbaugh, Adamm Oliver and Dr. Joe Paolucci.
