She had many interests, including history, archeology, classic films, technology, cooking, design, forensic medicine, politics, gardening with Hal, cats, and helping others. She supported many charitable organizations including Salvation Army and Metropolitan Ministries. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and cherished cats Loki, Patches and Puddin.
Betty is survived by two children, two grandchildren, a great-grandchild in utero, and two well-loved cats. Betty was a sweet and nurturing person who brought joy to the hearts of all who knew her. She was known especially for her amazing culinary talents, her beautiful speaking voice, and her wonderfully kind heart. As Betty never met a cat she didn’t love, her family requests that donations be made in Betty’s memory to the Humane Society of Tampa. A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined. Guestbook online at Florida Mortuary.
