CARROLLWOOD, FL — Folks with a taste for handcrafted sandwiches, salads and “giant stuffed spuds” will have a new option to satisfy their tastes come Monday. That’s the day when McAlister’s Deli plans to debut its second Tampa area location.

Located at 14444 N. Dale Mabry Highway, the new location will officially open its doors at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19. The first 50 customers will receive a $25 McAlister’s gift card, restaurant officials say. The new location is owned by franchisee Brayton Knotts, who also owns the Westshore location.

“As we continue to grow our presence in Tampa, we are excited to introduce McAlister’s handcrafted sandwiches, family-friendly atmosphere, and genuine hospitality to this area,“ said Knotts in a statement. “We look forward to opening our doors and building long-lasting relationships with the Carrollwood community.”
