Motorists, Beware: Lowell Road Targeted By Sheriff's Office

Authorities are stepping up enforcement near the Carrollwood Cultural Center.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office this week will target this area of western Hillsborough, on the lookout for impaired drivers. Operation 3D Check Point & Saturation is an “effort to reduce the number of crashes and deter those who may violate motor vehicle laws,” the sheriff’s office writes on its webpage. 

The enforcement on Lowell Road begins 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 and runs until 2 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30.
