Northdale Family Fun Festival, Parade Set for Saturday

The fun starts at 10 a.m. at Northdale Park.

Northdale area residents who want to take in a parade will get their chance this Saturday.

The Gaither High School marching band is set to kick off this year’s Northdale Family Fun Festival & Parade Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. The fun takes place at Northdale Park, 15550 Spring Pine Drive, and lasts until 2 p.m.

The parade will take a course that begins on Mapledale Drive, turns left onto Northdale Boulevard and concludes on Spring Pine Drive.

In addition to the parade, festival goers will find free food, entertainment and games for the family. Members of Fire Fighter’s Union No. 2294 are expected to be grilling up hot dogs while lots of local restaurants have signed on to deliver free samples, a media release on the event stated.
