Road Closure on Waters Avenue Begins Wednesday

CARROLLWOOD, FL -- Drivers can expect delays in the Carrollwood area as crews work on storm water lines along Waters Avenue beginning Wednesday, June 12.

This project was scheduled to begin on Monday, but now will start Wednesday afternoon. The road will be open until Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m.

Waters Avenue westbound will be closed between Dale Mabry Highway and Himes Avenue from Wednesday, June 12, until Friday, June 14, while crews work on storm water pipes.

Drivers can take West Lambright Street and Busch Boulevard north and south of Waters as an alternative route between Dale Mabry Highway and Himes Avenue.

The work is expected to impact traffic. Barricades and signs will direct motorists around work crews. Drivers are urged to use caution in this area.
