Sheriff's Office Seeks Teens Who Stole Lacrosse Team's Equipment
Detectives are seeking the public's help to identify four teens who broke into a lacrosse team's equipment shed and then set it on fire.
NORTHDALE, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's help to identify four teens who broke into a lacrosse team's equipment shed and then set it on fire.
On July 19, the teens broke into a storage shed used by the North Tampa Lacrosse team, Bay Area Sand Sharks, to store equipment. The storage shed was located at North Lakes Park at 2640 N. Lakeview Drive, Northdale.
According to Northwest Tampa Lacrosse President F. Joseph Kuebrich, the team lost uniforms, nets, balls and other equipment in the theft and subsequent fire.

Detectives believe the teens are between the age of 13 and 18. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 813-247-8200.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the team replace its equipment. To date, the fund has raised $24,420 of its $30,000 goal.
