SoFresh To Host Grand Opening Of New Carrollwood Location

CARROLLWOOD, FL — Tampa-based SoFresh, an emerging fresh casual concept that serves nutritious, made-to order meals, will have the Carrollwood grand opening Tuesday, May 11.

“On May 11, we will offer 50 percent off all dine-in, take-out and online orders via the SoFresh app or SoFresh website,” said John Williams Jr., SoFresh founder and partner/vice president operations. “The grand opening will also feature giveaways from our neighbor retail partners, ranging from gyms to yoga and Pilates studios, all businesses that fit with our healthful menu.”

SoFresh Carrollwood is located at 14398 N. Dale Mabry Highway in the Shoppes of Carrollwood. It joins 4 Rivers, Five Guys, Starbucks and Tropical Smoothie as its neighbors in the center.

The Carrollwood franchise owner and operator is Jay Patel. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he has spent the last five years managing his family’s portfolio of hotels.

“I’m excited to be serving nutritious, delicious dishes made to order in an area I love,” said Patel. “SoFresh is a fast-growing, fresh-casual concept.”

“SoFresh serves nutritious meals made to order,” Williams Jr. said. “We think Carrollwood will be pleased with our healthy menu offerings.”

According to Clay Donato, SoFresh partner and vice president of development, the Carrollwood location is adding close to 30 new jobs in the community. Since its first location opened in 2013, SoFresh has created more than 200 jobs in the Tampa Bay area.

“Our next location opening will be in Palm Harbor later this year,” said Donato. “More Tampa Bay locations are in the works.”

SoFresh currently has 15 locations open and is committed to open others in Florida and Pennsylvania with several others in development.
