Stewart/Owen Dance To Perform At Hillsborough Community College
The March 26-27 performances will be livestreamed.

TAMPA, FL — As part of the Hillsborough Community College Visual and Performing Arts Guest Artist Series, Stewart/Owen Dance will perform March 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.
This series offers the Tampa Bay community the opportunity to view cutting-edge work, artists and performances at affordable prices in HCC’s Mainstage Theatre on the Ybor City Campus.
Gavin Stewart and Vanessa Owen, a North Carolina-based husband and wife duo, share a contrasting selection of self-choreographed contemporary duets. "Re: Current" will include "Dendrovictus," a longtime audience favorite as well as "After Party," an award-winning 1960s-inspired work. Also during the program will be the world premiere of "Silver Spoon" in which Stewart/Owen will perform with a massive hoop skirt to expose a dark and quirky tale of luxury.

In addition to the three concert-style duets, the Stewart/Owen duo will present a dance and spoken-word short film called "Atmosphere," which was created in collaboration with poet Gina Cornejo and filmmaker Michael-Jamar Jean Francois.
These performances will be livestreamed via Vimeo, which is free for HCC students, faculty and staff. All additional tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.
