Veterans Day Means No School for Carrollwood Kids

As America celebrates its veterans, Hillsborough County school children will have a day off to join in observances.

Public schools throughout the county are closed on Veterans Day, according to the district’s calendar. Federal government offices are also closed for the day and there’s no mail service planned either, according to the United States Postal Service.

Hillsborough students also have an extended break right around the corner.

School is closed Nov. 24-28 for the Thanksgiving break.
