Where To Take Swimming Lessons in Carrollwood

Summer is here and as temperatures heat up, a cool pool or the beach are sure to top many of our to-do lists.

But staying safe should also be high on those list as well. To do that having proper swimming skills is essential. If you or someone in your family doesn't know how to swim, there are several resources in Carrollwood to help. 

Here are a community-focused places to take swimming lessons:

Bob Sierra Family YMCA: Located at 4029 Northdale Blvd., swimming lessons are available to youth 6 months through 12 years old. Adult lessons are also available at various skill levels. Classes for the more advanced swimmer who wants to get better are also offered. Lessons are held in both group and private settings. Emerald Greens Golf Resort and Recreation Center: Group and private swim lessons are available to children toddler through teen. Groups are divided based on skill level. More advanced swimmers can take a skill-set class focused on freestyle, butterfly and more technical strokes. Member and non-member rates apply.
