Clearwater Pedestrian Killed on Ulmerton Road
James Stephen Kozorra died at the scene from injuries he sustained after being struck by a car on Ulmerton Road late Saturday, May 25, authorities report.
A Clearwater man is dead after being struck by a car as he attempted to cross Ulmerton Road late Saturday.
James Stephen Kozorra, 62, was walking north on Ulmerton Road at around 10:40 p.m., May 25, authorities report.
Florida Highway Patrol says Kozorra was attempting to cross Ulmerton from the southeast corner of Carillon Parkway, at Feather Sound Drive in Clearwater.

Michael Hall Kline, 74, of Belleair was driving his 2013 Cadillac MRX, with his wife in the passenger seat. Authorities say the Klines were in the center lane headed west on Ulmerton Road, and as their car approached Carillon Parkway, Kozorra walked into their path.
Kozorra was struck and sustained fatal injuries. He died at the scene, reports Florida Highway Patrol.

Kline's Cadillac sustained an estimated $7,000 in damages, authorities report.
