County Launches Pinellas Trail Visioning Survey
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Pinellas Trail, Pinellas County has launched a survey that seeks public input.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Pinellas Trail, Pinellas County has launched a survey that seeks public input to help guide trail development and enhancements over the “next 30 years.”
The Trail Visioning Survey can be accessed at here. It will run from Feb. 2-9, and will seek public input on updates to the Pinellas Trail logo. All residents and visitors who use the trail in any way or have thoughts about its value to the community are encouraged to participate.
The Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail is a linear trail currently extending from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs and is a multi-use trail everyone can enjoy. The trail, created along a portion of abandoned railroad corridor, provides a unique, protected green space for walking, jogging, skating and biking. Pinellas County Parks & Conservation Resources is responsible for the trail's maintenance and operating costs.

A section of the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail in Largo will be closed to complete maintenance and repairs. The Pinellas Trail overpass at West Bay Drive will be closed from Monday, Feb. 1, to Saturday, Feb. 6. Weather delays could extend the closure.
Signage is posted in the area to alert trail users of the closure and to ensure bicyclist and pedestrian safety. Trail users will be detoured along 1st Avenue Northwestand West Bay Drive.
