Donation Benefits Children's Home Society Arts Programs

The Florida organization recently received a $5,000 donation to foster the arts.

Fostering a passion for music and art in youngsters across the state of Florida was the aim of a recent benefit concert staged in Clearwater.

Proceeds from that Nov. 16 concert, Rock the Beach, have been donated to Children’s Home Society of Florida, providing $5,000 to help the nonprofit organization introduce music and the arts to kids in its care. The concert was sponsored by HaveUHeard, an organization dedicated to enriching lives through music and art.

Children’s Home Society of Florida serves more than 100,000 abused, abandoned and neglected kids across the Sunshine State. In the Tampa Bay area, the organization operates Joshua House in Lutz.
