Engman Street Shooting Suspect Turns Himself In
Kwuashawn Wyche, 16, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection to a Jan. 25 shooting at Engman Street and Holt Avenue in Clearwater that sent another man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
A teen suspect wanted in connection to a Jan. 25 shooting incident on Engman Steet in Clearwater that sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries turned himself in Friday.
Kwuashawn Wyche, 16, who lives at the Palmetto Park Apartments, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with the incident, after walking into Clearwater Police headquarters at 1 p.m. according to officials.
A fight broke out between Wyche and another man that escalated to gunfire sometime before 5 p.m. Jan. 25 near Engman Street and Holt Avenue.

That man has since been released from the hospital, Elizabeth Watts, police spokeswoman, said in an email.
