CLEARWATER, FL — FairWarning, a leader in protecting the privacy of people and organizations by securing their most sensitive data, announced that it has been named one of Tampa Bay’s Top Workplaces 2020 by the Tampa Bay Times for the eighth consecutive year.

CEO Ed Holmes said the company’s continued growth and expansion in health care, financial services and other highly regulated markets is driving its ability to create an attractive culture for retaining and hiring top talent.

With more than 160 employees, FairWarning is dedicated to leading cybersecurity innovation and keeping pace with the rapid evolution of health care, financial services and other sectors.

Recently, FairWarning was able to demonstrate its response to customer needs by quickly developing a coronavirus module for health care systems to easily track access to patient records. The company also developed a suite of remote workforce reports to help companies across industries ensure the security of their salesforce despite the rapid shift by many companies to working at home.

“There is a sense of mission to protect data and do something meaningful, especially in our current environment,” noted a current FairWarning employee. “There is also a very healthy culture of collaboration and desire to improve what we do and how we do it.”

In the Tampa Bay region, more than 180 leading companies were surveyed for Tampa Bay’s Top Workplaces 2020. To be considered for participation, companies or government entities had to employ at least 50 workers in Florida.

The companies were ranked based on leadership, compensation and training, workplace flexibility and diversity. The rankings were published on TampaBay.com.

“We enjoy providing this platform every year for employees to share what makes their workplace special,” said Times’ business editor Bill Varian. “We hope this year’s stories provide some inspiration for when things return to normal.”
