Behind the making of the menu is Bruce Leith, manager of concessions. He said there is a unique balance between comfort foods from Philly and local offerings.
“It’s stuff to get the local Tampa Bay flair,” Leith said. “It makes people feel right at home.”
Of course that means, Cuban sandwiches and boneless wings from local favorite Abe’s also are available.
Offering a uniquely Florida-Philly experience is not just left up to the food, though.
The Phanatic dangle hats, an international phenomena last season are now available in Clearwater as well.

The playful green hat was developed by someone in the Phillies front office last season. It became an international hit, with people wearing it and sharing their photos from around the world, including from the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Special bobble heads only available for Spring Training as well as merchandise with a Florida flair (T-shirt jerseys with sunsets and palm trees anyone?) are also offered.
But, what’s baseball without some beer?
As well as Yuengling and Budweiser products, there are more than 120 beers available throughout the ballpark, Leith said.
Mailbu buckets, introduced last season, were so popular they are available throughout the ballpark, rather than at just one stand, he said.
Some of the beer offered is from local makers including Cigar City Brewery. Sea Dog Brewery, which recently opened its first Florida location in Clearwater, also is available at the ballpark.
“If you like beer, here’s your place,” Leith said.
