Flood Watch in Effect for Clearwater Through Wednesday

A flood watch is in effect for Clearwater, Pinellas County and most of the Tampa Bay area through Wednesday, according to Clearwater Police. 

"If you think it's been soggy the last few days, another 3 to 5 inches of rain is possible the next 48 hours," according to a post on the Clearwater Police Facebook page.

Residents of lower-lying areas should be alert for possible high water as the rainy conditions continue. South to southwesterly winds are also pushing more water inland.
