Motorcycle Rider Dies In Crash On Memorial Causeway
A motorcycle rider is dead after a fatal crash on Memorial Causeway early Sunday morning.
CLEARWATER, FL - A motorcycle rider is dead after a fatal crash on Memorial Causeway early Sunday morning. The 30-year-old motorcyclist collided with a car and was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Clearwater police said.
The crash occurred at 2:42 a.m. No one in the car was hurt. Both eastbound lanes were closed at Island Way for several hours. The roadway has since reopened.
The motorcyclist has not been identified by police.
