Police: Countryside Car Burglaries Appear Related

A series of burglaries to unlocked cars in the Countryside area appear to be related, according to Clearwater Police.

A series of burglaries to unlocked cars in the Countryside area appear to be related, according to Clearwater Police.

Most of the 14 vehicles were unlocked when burglaries occurred during the nighttime hours from Feb. 18-28. The lock was picked in one incident, according to police. Items taken including iPods, sunglasses, money and GPS devices.

Clearwater Police posted a map generally showing where the burglaries occurred on its Facebook page.

"Please remember to lock your vehicles and don’t leave valuables inside," according to the post.
