Tennis, Anyone? Clearwater to Unveil Four New Clay Courts

Clearwater will host its annual Family Tennis Festival on Saturday, May 18.

CLEARWATER, FL -- Grab your tennis shoes and racquets and enjoy a day of fun and learning at the Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex Family Tennis Festival on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Clearwater will host its annual Family Tennis Festival with free tennis clinics and a chance to participate in a round-robin tournament. There will also be pickle ball courts available to use, food, vendors, demonstrations, entertainment and more. This event is free.

During the event, city officials will unveil four new clay tennis courts at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. In addition to the new courts, the city has also installed new lighting at the complex to allow visitors to play tennis in the evening.

With these new clay courts, McMullen Tennis Complex is now home to 12 clay courts, six hard courts and one pro hard court.
