What Clearwater's Saying: Clearwater Beach Wins Best Beach Town in Florida

Clearwater Beach is officially voted the Best Beach Town in Florida in a poll conducted by USA Today.

"We are the best beach," said Mayor George N. Cretekos. "This is exciting for all of Clearwater and really Pinellas County.

Ronald Joseph Kule commented on the story saying: “What a wonderful recognition for our town! Kudos to all who helped make it happen! I'm proud for my town and beaches. Clearwater's also a great place to write my biographies and novels!”

City of Clearwater Government posted on our Facebook page:  “Thank you to everyone who voted! Clearwater Beach is a fantastic place to be, and we're glad that so many others feel the same way.”

Ace Robst Jr. said in a Facebook comment: “Yup, the best beach around! None better anywhere else in this State, or any other State!”
