Sixth Annual Willa Carson Run is Saturday
The sixth annual Willa Carson Health and Wellness Center 5K Run/Walk is Saturday at Coachman Park.
The sixth annual Willa Carson Health and Wellness Center 5K Run/Walk is Saturday at Coachman Park.
Runners and walkers of all ages can participate in the race events from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9.
“We are especially excited about the run/walk this year because we have moved the race to Coachman Park,” Carrie Hepburn, with the health center, said in a release.

More than 100 runners have participated at past events.
Awards for the 5K Run are $250 for first place, $150 for second and $100 for third.

Registration starts at 6:30 a.m., with the run/walk beginning at 7 a.m. The first 100 runners to register get a free race T-shirt. Cost is $25. The fun walk activities cost $10. Money raised benefits the health center that serves the uninsured and underserved.
