Windsurfing World Championships Continue On Clearwater Beach
More than 100 windsurfing competitors from seven countries will continue competing in the 2018 Kona Windsurfing World Championships.
CLEARWATER, FL -- More than 100 windsurfing competitors from seven countries will continue competing in the 2018 Kona Windsurfing World Championships on Clearwater Beach today and Wednesday.
Competitors began participating in the five-day race on one design of Kona windsurf board on Oct. 26. The Kona class promotes accessible windsurfing through class rules that prioritize simplicity and family friendly competition.
Racing begins at 10 a.m. each day. The public is invited to come out and watch.
