Woman Sexually Battered at Clearwater House Party

A Clearwater man was arrested and charged with sexual battery after getting a woman drunk and forcibly having sex with her at a house party May 20, according to Largo Police.

Rein Hogan Ramos, 22, of Clearwater, provided alcohol to the victim, who is not named because of the nature of the crime, to the point she began to vomit and became physically and mentally incapacitated, according to arrest records.

Ramos then brought the victim into his room where he forcibly removed portions of her clothes before having sex with her, according to police.

The victim said “no” and asked Ramos to stop, according to investigators. Ramos confessed to these acts, according to police.

He was arrested and charged with sexual battery on a physically helpless person. He is in jail awaiting trial on $50,000 bond.
