A 75-year-old woman has been killed after being struck by a car on Bayshore Boulevard in Dunedin.

DUNEDIN, FL -- A 75-year-old woman has been killed after being struck by a car on Bayshore Boulevard in Dunedin.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Valarie Elberg of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, was standing on the curb waiting to cross Bayshore Boulevard at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday, March 6.
She stepped into the road outside a crosswalk and was struck by a Toyota Camry driven 67-year-old Don Meuse of Palm Harbor, who was heading south on Bayshore, approaching the intersection of Cedar Street.
