All Pinellas County Government Offices To Be Closed For Memorial Day Holiday

Some offices are still closed to the public due to COVID-19 and will start a phased reopening beginning in June.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 31, in observance of Memorial Day. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, the Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections.

Some County offices are closed to the public due to COVID-19 and will begin a phased reopening beginning in June.

Although County parks and the outdoor areas of the County preserves will be open, the Parks & Conservation Resources administrative offices, Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center, Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center, and Heritage Village will be closed. Beach and boat ramp parking permits can be purchased online.

Sixth Judicial Circuit courts

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

Solid Waste Disposal Facility

The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day. However, the Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3) will be closed.

Animal Services shelter

The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.
