Alternate U.S. 19 Repaving Project Expected To Begin Aug. 17

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Florida Department of Transportation plans to begin repaving Alternate U.S. 19 from Mohawk Street to north of Tilden Street/Skinner Boulevard April 17.

Construction is anticipated to finish in early 2021.

The $2,367,976 construction project is just south of the city line in Clearwater. The FDOT's intent is to perform concrete-related work on Monday through Friday during daytime hours, however, paving work is anticipated to occur at night on Sunday through Thursdays.
