A Dunedin woman accused of sitting "Indian-style" on Main Street while intoxicated early Sunday faces misdemeanor charges.
Jodie Ann Stryczny, 46, was allegedly found sitting on the 300 block of Main Street shortly before 2 a.m. July 14, and then forced her way past a security guard into an unnamed bar, according to Pinellas County arrest records.
A Pinellas County Sheriff's Deputy O. Boggess arrived and attempted to call a cab, but Stryczny refused to leave and was yelling obscenities, arrest records say.
Boggess reports in the arrest record that Stryczny pushed and pulled away from him, and also tried to kick him when she was directed to the ground.
Stryczny was charged that night with resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication in a public place, both misdemeanors. She has been released.
