Detectives Charge Dunedin Man With Possessing Chlld Pornography

DUNEDIN, FL -- The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has charged a 62-year-old Dunedin with 10 counts of possessing child pornography.

Richard Andres of Beltrees Street was arrested shortly before noon on Wednesday following an investigation that began in March.

That's when detectives received a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children that an Internet user at the Beltrees Street address was downloading child pornography.

During the execution of a search warrant, detectives with the sheriff's Crimes Against Children Unit recovered numerous images depicting child pornography from Andre's personal home computer.

Andre admitted to detectives that he searched for images of child pornography and saved them to his computer.
