DUNEDIN, FL — The Dunedin Haunt'oween Hammock Hike is sold out, however, there are spots still available for The Great Pumpkin Drive-Thru" event.

The Great Pumpkin Drive-Thru presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation will take place Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Highlander Park, 903 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin.

The free event is recommended for preschool and elementary students.

Participants will stay in their vehicle and drive through Highlander Park, admiring Halloween, fall and pumpkin-themed scenes, decorations and music.

Local businesses, organizations and members from the community are helping celebrate the season and participating in this event by setting up and decorating their vehicles and trunks, and waving to participants as they drive by.

Each child will receive a goody bag filled with trinkets and treats at the end of the drive. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Dunedin For Youth Scholarship Fund.

Register in advance online or in person at the Dunedin Community Center or MLK Jr. Recreation Center by Wednesday, Oct. 21 to reserve a time slot. Time slots are available from 11 a.m. to noon, noon to 1 p.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.
