Dunedin Man Accused Of Sexual Contact With 14-Year-Old Girl

DUNEDIN, FL — A Dunedin man has been accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, William James Rosenthal, 46, of Somerset Circle North, Dunedin, was arrested Friday on one count of lewd and lascivious conduct.

The contact reportedly occurred on March 1 at a home in Pinellas County. The investigation began July 24 after the parent of the girl notified the authorities.

When interviewed by detectives, the victim said Rosenthal, whom she knew, inappropriately touched her under and over her clothes on multiple occasions. Detectives corroborated the girl's claims and arrested Rosenthal July 26.
